The nomadic life

Today I had the chance to leave my village for a day, and go to town.
I wound my way around Stonebull Lake, and can just see Bloodhoof Village reflected in the calm water. Once on the other side it's open prairie, hills and animals. A quiet gazelle grazes on soft grass as I travel along the path.

When I come over the bluff I find a gorgeous view. The town waits, I hope it'sbuzzing with Saturday travelers.

I love these teepees!
First stop is the entryway shrine. I give thanks to those who have come before me, bless those here today, and say a prayer for a vibrant tomorrow.

This is actually the image that is on some of the post cards here. I always buy one when I'm in town and send it to a friend or family member. I took this photo almost year ago. And today, the grass looks just as sacred and fresh.
This is the bridge that we call - Wall-heh, entry to a quiet cove, living sanctuary.

Roundhouse commons, this is where my friends and I gather when it rains.
But today is clear and dry, when I look up at the sky, the moon looks down upon this place. At this moment in time, the soul blinks slowly, and comes awake.

There's still room in the prayer circle, if you want to share some good vibes.

And now I have made my pilgrimage. These spiritcatchers are for sale outside the general storehouse, and every time I go past I can feel the energies trapped inside each of them.
Probably why they are still here. But honestly, look at that eagle. Awesome.
